Bareilly: Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University organised a technical and cultural festival, ‘Tech Talentia-2026’, through its Department of Computer Science and Information Technology (CSIT) to mark Engineers’ Day. This year’s theme was ‘Beyond Ideas, Build Tomorrow’, highlighting the importance of turning innovative ideas into practical solutions.
The programme was organised under the guidance of the university’s Vice-Chancellor and Chief Patron, Prof. Anil Kumar Rai. Head of the Department Prof. Vinay Rishiwal, Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET) Dean Prof. Archana Gupta, programme coordinator Dr Preeti Yadav, Prof. S.S. Bedi and other faculty members were present.
Students enthusiastically participated in a range of technical and cultural competitions, showcasing their coding, problem-solving, creative and presentation skills. The events included Bug Masters, a coding and debugging competition, Presentia, Poster Making, Keys to Canvas based on Generative AI, algorithmic music creation, Open Mic and various cultural competitions.
In the competition results, Aryan Mehrotra secured first place in Bug Masters, while Soumya won the Poster Making competition. Ariba Khan secured first position in Keys to Canvas (Gen AI). Aura Crew emerged winners in the Dance competition, while Prisha secured first place in Open Mic.
The winners were presented with prizes at the conclusion of the event, while all participants received certificates in recognition of their participation.
Student coordinators Ankita Kumari, Anshika Sharma, Mitakshi Pant and Akshita Singh made a special contribution towards the successful organisation of the programme.
